Young Womens Democracy Restoration Academy 

The Academy for Restoring Democracy for Young Women is a project designed for Sudanese young women to empower them to participate effectively and competently in restoring the path of democratic transition in Sudan.
Through the academy, participants are equipped with knowledge on democracy, advocacy, good governance, constitutional building mechanisms, elections, and leadership skills.

Our aim with this project is to strengthen participants’ knowledge and skills regarding tools for achieving democracy and promoting women’s political participation in Sudan.
It also seeks to encourage critical analysis of the current political and social systems.

Furthermore, the academy strives to inspire and motivate Sudanese young women to engage in democratic and political processes, contributing to decision-making and the building of lasting peace in Sudan.

 

The launch of the first trainings and the delivery of knowledge

 by addressing the fundamental concepts and principles of democracy and women’s political participation.
