We, a group of feminist activists, announce the formation of Taa Altaneeth Association, a horizontally structured women-led coordination organization. We are deeply committed to achieving gender equality and promoting the roles of women and girls in Sudan, especially in North Kordofan, as well as outside Sudan. Our primary goal is to educate and empower women and girls, enabling them to actively participate in national decision-making, in addition to enhancing their access to leadership positions in economic, social, and developmental fields.<br> We strive to improve the conditions of women and girls and to strengthen their roles in various aspects of society, affirming the importance of achieving gender equality as a fundamental human right and a necessary condition for sustainable development. We work to eliminate all forms of discrimination faced by women, aiming to achieve social justice. We also aspire to establish an entity that contributes to the development of women leaders in society by providing appropriate training and capacity building, while working to change traditional mindsets and promote women’s participation in decision-making processes at all levels.
